If you want to play Settlers of Catan - Solito version, it might still be possible :)
You need the standalone Flash Projector executable because modern browsers no longer support the Macromedia plugin
The Flash Projector requires the correct parameters to connect to the Solito server
PC
• Here is a batch file with the correct parameters (launcher): solitocatan.bat
Download both files in the same folder of your choice
You can now double click the file "solitocatan.bat" and it will launch the Flash Player with the correct parameters.
(You may need to authorize Windows to run the .bat file.)
MAC (Tested on Sequoia 15.4)
Download the Mac Flash Player and double-click the .dmg, you will see "Flash Player.app" ⇒ Move it to the "Applications" folder. (Destination is important).
Now a bit trickier but here are the steps:
• In Finder, create a sub-folder "catan" under "Download" folder
• Download the Mac launcher solitocatan.command to your "Download/catan" folder
(if your browser opens the file, just copy the entire code, open TextEdit, paste in TextEdit, save as "solitocatan.command")
• Open Terminal and type CD, then from your finder window, Drag and Drop the "catan" folder (inside Download folder) onto your Terminal window, hit "Enter" in the Terminal window
• You are now in the "catan" folder in Terminal; in the Terminal type: chmod +x solitocatan.command
You can now double click the file "solitocatan.command" and it will launch the Flash Player with the correct parameters.
NOTE: "Flash Player.app" ⇒ Move it to the "Applications" folder because I configured solitocatan.command to launch the Player from there (You could change the directory eventually)
You can move "solitocatan.command" to your desktop if you wish.
(Mac will probably prevent you from launching this script: In System Settings on you Mac, go to Privacy and Security, you should see "Allow application...".)
Enjoy!
